Bio: Michele Campbell – Executive Director, LeBron James Family Foundation 

 As the Executive Director of the LeBron James Family Foundation, Michele Campbell is charged with executing LeBron’s vision to create generational change in his hometown. This entails overseeing the overall vision and programming for the Foundation’s work that has evolved into the I PROMISE School, a groundbreaking public school that takes an innovative approach to educating the whole child and their entire family; the I PROMISE Institute that provides higher education support, the I PROMISE Village that serves as transitional housing, the upcoming I PROMISE Housing that will deliver long-term affordable housing, and House Three Thirty, an innovative center offering job training, financial health, and family programming for the entire community.

With more than 25 years of higher education experience, Campbell is passionate about education and firmly believes in the potential of LJFF’s I Promise program to change the world, one student and family at a time. The Akron native attained her education from Ohio institutions, including a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Ashland University, a Master’s degree from Kent State University’s Higher Education Administration, and a Doctorate from the University of Akron as a Doctor of Education.
