NSME North Coast Dinner - September

"Proven Winning Selling Skills- The Basics" by Mike Kormushoff - Account Supervisor, ST&P Marketing Communications

New technologies have impacted how we market and sell our products and services; however, something’s never changed. Take it from an old peddler.
I will share 7 steps to help you become a better salesperson.  From Mentally Rehearsing to Listening to the Closing of the sale. Nothing earth-shattering but steps you've probably been skipping over.

Assisting me will be Dr. Vanja Djuric, Director of Suarez Applied Marketing Research Laboratory, Director of Analytics, Department of Marketing, College of Business Administration at The University of Akron. We will share insights from recent bio-metric studies conducted on graduating students participating in role-playing situations.

Nothing like watching a salesperson squirm when faced with a challenging sales call with a busy and demanding executive looking to cut costs and get more from his vendor.

By monitoring physical and mental reactions during stressful sales situations, students can better prepare themselves on how to control their presentations, delivery, and spontaneous reactions.
