“Success in Sales and Leadership Within an Organization” by Shanon Siegferth, President Akron BBB

Shannon Siegferth will speak about her growth and success in sales and advancing within an organization. Her reputation and performance within sales aided tremendously in her promotion and rise to CEO after six years. She will discuss her background in the military (7+ years active duty), followed by her education (MBA) and experience. She will dive into the specifics of expanding her strategy in sales and how she became successful. Rounding out the discussion, Shannon will talk about growth and continuing to hone skills learned in sales that apply to her current daily functions within the CEO role.

Shannon Siegferth Bio:

Shannon Siegferth is a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard and currently serves as the President and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Akron. Raised in Medina, Shannon fell in love with Northeast Ohio and made the decision at a young age to come back and work in this community after her time serving our country.

Fueled by determination and a strong cup of coffee, Shannon obtained both her MBA from NorthCentral University and her B.A. from Robert Morris University in less than four years. 

Shannon is extremely goal-focused and is passionate about helping others. With a professional background spanning from event planning to sales and marketing, Shannon continues to effectively strengthen and elevate her skills to help other businesses with knowledge, experience, and heart.

When not working, Shannon can be found chasing her two young children around the park or baking delicious treats at home.
